H; Dersch (PTstitch): "If a cylindrical panorama without cap image is adjusted, the results are worse. This is due to accumulation of small errors along the mentioned correction chain, which ultimately causes degradation in images at the end of the chain".
It seems, also, there is a specific problem with 8 bit overflow...

PTstich; no correction

PTstich; exposure anchor on first image (leftest, white sky); correction:
brightness + colour

PTstich; exposure anchor on last image (rightest, half-blue sky); correction:
brightness + colour

PTstich; exposure anchor on last image (middle-right, half-blue sky);
correction: brightness only

nona+enblend

PTstich; exposure anchor on last image (rightest, half-blue sky); correction:
brightness and then, enblend

This time, enblend, although the best choice, is still not perfect. One cannot assume that ground and sky are linked as far as brightness is concerned.
- PTstitch alters colour, even with only brightness correction selected
- Enblend manages well global exposure and has a very effective feather;
regional exposure is sometimes still a (small) problem.
good
global equalization; regional discrepancies.

Colour correction is a disaster. After much manual colour processing...

Colour correction is a awful once again..

In fact, PT gets crazy even without colour correction; remapping bug?
Now, trying nona+enblend!
very good job!
Processing colors globally: brightness +30, contrast +20, gamma 0.4, blue -10:
and editing with GIMP...
although it makes many details appear, is aesthetically not worth the time spent...

The background is not enough saturated, because of the weather, but PTstitch did quite a good job.

reworked with GIMP (colour curves on a selection)

It looks artificial but it is much more readable, especially when zooming...
making three zones should do better but would be still more time consuming.
